Elsa the lioness

I met this female lion called Elsa in a shelter for old an abused animals in the Netherlands. She had been fed porridge all her life, and because of that had a small stunted body. The keepers called her their bonsai lion, and she looked more like a chow chow dog than an lion. She had a wonderful character though, so I made some portrait studies of her.
