A commissioned portrait of a lovely horse called Stela with her foal. Though the reference photo was pretty good, the resolution was low, and the background not very attractive (aluminium wall). 🙂 So, had to improvise with that. I wanted the whole painting to have a “classical” feeling, like the paintings from the Golden Age in 17th century Europe.
