Description
This bird is called “krykkje” in Norwegian. They nest in large colonies on cliffsides, but on Svalbard these birds have made themselves homes in abandoned flat buildings.
Part of the proceedings of this painting will go to Fuglehjelpen, a wondeful organization helping and releasing injured wild birds in Norway.
