Description
This painting was part of a series of 4 key species for the RITZ (Rendesvous at the Zoo) event at the San Diego Zoo in 2023. The four wildlife paintings, a Sumatran tiger, Hawaiian A´lala, White rhino and this gorilla, all sold, contributing to the new Elephant Valley at the zoo, and their partner sanctuary, the community-led Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in northern Kenya.
