Description
One does not often see polar bears in their natural environment, the sea. These top predators are amazing swimmers, with eyes and ears high set in their faces, so these stay above the surface, strong muscles, webbed feet and a thick layer of insulating fur and fat. Polar bears can swim for hours, and even catch narwhal and belugas in the water. I wanted to convey the bears gracefulness in the quit underwater world of the arctic.
