Description
A scene I have witnessed multiple times, roe deer in the snow. These dainty little deer do not seem up to the hardship of winter, especially in the rough nature of Norway. But they thrive. They get a thick winter coat, and eat bark and dig for food deep under the snow. I just love their pretty faces, with those big, ever alert eyes and fluffy ears. That black nose contrasts beautifully with the small white chin. They are shy and very elegant creatures.
