Ruddy Shelduck Swimming
A painting of a ruddy duck, quietly swimming in calm lake, somewhere in the fields in the Netherlands. I liked the contrast between the dark water surface, the light head of the duck and the deep rusty reds of the plumage, so tried to capture that in this painting.
