White-tailed eagles are quite abundant here in Norway, and I’m lucky enough to spot them near my house every now and then. There are huge, majestic birds, who soar over the coastal regions looking for fish and waterfowl. When they sit, they can be mistaken for a small person hunched down. I just love their intense gaze, big yellow beaks and ruffled feathers, and tried to capture that wild, powerful being in this portrait.
